But India is a bit ahead in this race as it offers its tourists with much more uncommon things. Yes, that’s right. Otherwise where else will you find the beauty of backwaters along with spice gardens and a topping of eye-catching sunrise and sunset views? 

That’s Kerala for you, the God’s Own Country, where the south side beauty is so much visible in its sights, historical museums, palaces, wild life sanctuaries and tea plantations and backwaters, that ten days look too small for a mind blowing visit.

 

Day 01 : Cochin - The Gateway of Kerala

Your tour will immediately start from your arrival at Cochin Airport where you will experience a warm welcome from our representative who will be arranging a comfortable vehicle for your whole journey. Before paying a visit to the best sights of Cochin, you will get to check-in at your hotel.

After some relaxing time, we will take you on tour of Cochin city. This city is based at the middle of Western Ghats and Arabian Sea. It stands as the Commercial and Industrial capital of Kerala. However, it has enough pages written in its history which can be seen in the spots like Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church, Jewish Synagogue, Gunda and Willingdon Islands, Bolghatty, Hill Palace Museum, Kerala History Museum and Santacruz Cathedral.
 


Day 02 : Cochin - Munnar

The second day of the tour takes you further from Cochin to one of the most popular hill stations of Kerala, Munnar. This place is 110 km from Cochin and attracts you with its beautiful tea plantations where some worldwide major tea companies have their operations. On arrival, check-in at your hotel.


Day 03 : Munnar

After having breakfast on the third day of tour, you will come out to experience the pleasing weather of Munnar and we will, as usual, make you visit some of the best places of this city. Here you would be seeing Mattupetty Dam and Farm, Pallivasal, Devikulam, lock Heart Gap, Nyayamakad, Eravikulam National Park, Rajamala, Echo Point, Power House Waterfalls and Thommankuthu Waterfalls. In evening, we will drive you back to your hotel for another overnight stay.

 

Day 04: Munnar - Thekkedy (Periyar)

On the fourth day of this pleasing journey, you will again move 100 km forward to reach Thekkedy, which is also known as Periyar,  it is known as one of the best wild life sanctuaries of India. A wide range of flora, fauna and unique birds can be seen on its determined sights. However, a wild life sanctuary is not all there is to see. The huge spice plantation, where almost all the spices you use in your kitchen are available, attracts a big population from all over the world. 

Addition to this excellent day will be the cruise through the waters of Periyar Lake, from where the view to its wild world full of elephants is much more pleasing.

 

Day 05 : Thekkady - Kumarakom

This morning, we will drive 140 km to Kumarakom. This Vembanad Lake based island cluster attracts more and more visitors through the essence of its lush vegetation and great climate. After arriving here, a short trip to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary and a house boat jetty ride will do enough to refresh you for further journey.

 

Day 06 : Kumarakom - Alleppy

On the sixth day of tour, you will be experiencing one of the most popular attractions of God’s own country. The backwaters in this state are known to every second person and journey through these in a luxury house boat serves you with the lifetime of travelling pleasure. A boat comprising of private balcony, sun deck, kitchen and other attributes will take you on this ride from Kumarakom to Alleppy. With this, your whole day will go to a much desired water travel as we will assure you a comfortable overnight stay on the houseboat itself.

 

Day 07 : Alleppy

On the very next morning of the seventh day of the tour, breakfast will be served to you on the boat itself. Afterwards, you will check-out of the boat to touch the land of immense natural beauty, Alleppy. After checking-in at the hotel here, you will get to visit the city's some famous or well known spots in order to feel the beauty of lagoons, lake and fresh water. With its backwater tourist destinations and places like Kuttanad and Alleppy Beach, it attracts many foreign travellers. An overnight stay at Alleppy hotel is scheduled for the day.
 



Day 08 : Alleppey - Kovalam

The eighth day of this package tour is scheduled to take you 160 km further southwards to Kovalam, which is also noted as ‘Paradise of South’. A typical Kerala experience can be grabbed here as coconut trees on some beautiful beaches explain the true Kerala story. The beach here is famous for its three different looks. One - the light house beach, Second - northern samudra and Third - the middle hawah. The Ayurvedic massage on the white sandy beach shore is just another attraction in this city. On the same day, you will also get the opportunity to visit Padmanabhapuram and Kaudiar Palaces, Napier Museum, Anchuthengu Fort and Kuthiramalika Palace Museum.

 

Day 09 : Kovalam - Kanyakumari - Kovalam

After having breakfast on the ninth day, we will make you travel to the southernmost point of India, Kanyakumari. During the British rule, this place was also known as Cape Comorin. Landscape photographers and nature lovers can spend a pleasing time here. On this one day tour, you will be able to see Kanyakumari Temple, Wax Museum, Vattakottai, Gandhi Museum and Vivekananda Rock. 



Day 10 : Kovalam - Trivandrum

The tenth day will come as the last day of this tour when we will drop you to Trivandrum Airport for your onwards journey.
